Chemical Ventilation
Ductless Fume Hoods
Filtered recirculating hoods draw air through selected filter media and return it to the laboratory without a dedicated outdoor exhaust duct.

Features and configuration
Chemical-specific filtration
Activated-carbon media is selected for the chemicals in use and requires a defined replacement strategy.
Particulate filtration
HEPA filtration can capture particles and aerosols; it does not substitute for gas or vapour filtration.
Compact installation
Blower, filters, controls and airflow monitoring are integrated within the hood assembly.
Typical specifications
| Air route | Work chamber → filters → blower → room |
|---|---|
| Vapour filter | Application-selected activated carbon |
| Particle filter | HEPA where required |
| Work surface options | SS, epoxy, ceramic or suitable alternative |
| Monitoring | Airflow and filter-condition indication |
| Suitability | Limited to chemicals and quantities approved for the filter system |
Applications
- Selected laboratory processes with a defined and compatible chemical inventory
Ductless Hood Airflow
Air moves from the work chamber through the selected filtration stages before returning to the room.
