Powder Handling
Dispensing and Sampling Booths
Reverse laminar flow booths combine filtered downflow with low-level return air capture for weighing, sampling and transferring powders.

Features and configuration
Controlled downflow
Ceiling filtration supplies clean air toward the work zone and rear return grilles.
Air balance
Partial exhaust maintains a localized negative-pressure zone, with the remaining airflow recirculated through filtration.
Project-specific options
Safe-change filters, anti-static curtains and appropriate electrical protection can be specified for the process.
Typical specifications
| Nominal downflow | 0.45 m/s ± 20% |
|---|---|
| Typical air split | 10–15% exhaust / 85–90% recirculation |
| Cleanliness target at rest | ISO Class 5 |
| Lighting | 500–600 lux |
| Construction | SS 304 or SS 316L |
| Typical internal width | 1200 / 1800 / 2400 / 3000 mm |
| Typical internal height | 2100 mm |
Applications
- Raw-material weighing
- API sampling
- Pharmaceutical and chemical processing
